Solid FSC-certified New Zealand pine with a bevelled edge and forged iron trim — a traditional combination, made here rather than imported. The hand-rubbed polishing process is what gives the timber its depth: it's a slower finish than spray lacquer and it lets the grain read through rather than sitting under a film. Four adjustable shelves and rear cable cut-outs.

Each unit is made to order in New Zealand rather than pulled from imported stock. That lead time is the trade-off for local manufacture and the 25 year guarantee.
Will the timber match the photos?
Each piece of solid pine differs in colour tone and pattern. That variation is the nature of solid wood rather than a fault.
How does it compare to the Small and Corner units?
The Large is 1630mm with four adjustable shelves. The Small is 1140mm with two shelves, and the Corner is 1200mm and shaped to fit a corner.
