The slats are the point. Rather than a plain surround, the Tonya frames its glass in solid timber battens, so the edge of the mirror becomes a texture instead of a line — the same detail that makes slatted headboards and screens work, applied at a size that suits a wall. In white-washed pine it stays light enough not to weigh down a small room, which is where most heavily framed mirrors of this width go wrong.

How should it be fixed to the wall?
Into a stud rather than plasterboard alone. At 930mm wide the fixing points sit some distance apart, so mark out carefully and check the mirror is level before you commit — a slatted frame makes any lean immediately obvious, because the eye reads the batten lines against the ceiling.
Can it go in a bathroom or laundry?
Not somewhere humid. This is a pine frame with a washed finish, and sustained moisture will lift the timber and mark the wash. Keep it to living areas, bedrooms and hallways.
How do I clean between the slats?
A dry brush or a vacuum dusting attachment along the battens. Avoid wetting the timber, and keep glass cleaner off the frame — spray it onto the cloth rather than onto the mirror so it does not run down into the slat gaps.
