Roughly 80 years in the making — this reclaimed oak bedside table is built from timber that has already had a full life before this one. Both top and body are solid reclaimed oak in a natural finish, carrying nail holes, saw marks, colour shifts and grain that new timber simply can't offer, so each table looks lived-in from day one. At 450 × 400mm it's the most compact piece in the Harvest range, with a metal handle as the one deliberate contrast. As the oak is genuinely reclaimed, natural variation is expected and makes every table unique.

How old is the timber?
The oak is genuinely reclaimed and around 80 years old, salvaged from previous use such as old buildings, flooring or furniture. Natural variation in grain, colour and marks such as nail holes and saw marks is expected — it's what makes each piece unique.
Are the marks and holes faults?
No. Nail holes, saw marks and surface wear are why reclaimed timber is valued — they're evidence of the wood's history, not defects.
Which Harvest piece should I choose?
This is the smallest at 450 × 400mm. The Harvest Side Table is the same materials in a larger 540 × 450mm format, the Parquet Top adds a patterned oak surface over a grey body, and the End Table is a 500mm elm cube.
How do I care for it?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Use coasters under hot or wet items, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which lightens timber unevenly.
