Kaikoura Long Wool Square Seat Pad - Black

Kaikoura Long Wool Square Seat Pad - Black | Online8 New Zealand

A long square wool seat pad in Black, made from premium New Zealand sheepskin and cut to 340 x 340mm. Black is the most graphic of the range: it holds its own against pale oak and white dining chairs, ties in with black steel frames, and is the most practical choice in a room where the chairs get used hard. Made for dining chairs, benches and occasional seating.

Why It Stands Apart

• New Zealand sheepskin: Genuine long wool, so it has the body and softness a synthetic fleece cannot match.
• Contrast where you want it: Black defines a chair rather than blending into it, which suits pale timber, white and light upholstery.
• Turns a hard chair into a comfortable one: The long pile cushions timber, wire and moulded seats through long dinners.
• 34 x 34cm square: Covers a standard dining, kitchen or office chair seat, and sits well on a stool top.
• Wool that breathes: Insulating in winter without feeling hot in summer, so it can stay on the chair all year.
• Order one or the whole table: Sold individually, so you can start with one chair and add more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will 34cm cover my chair seat?
The pad is 340 x 340mm, which suits most dining chairs, stools, office chairs and bench seats. Measure your seat across and front to back — if it is close to 34cm, the pad will cover it well.

Is this genuine sheepskin?
Yes. It is New Zealand sheepskin with a long wool pile, in black.

Will every pad look the same?
Not exactly. Sheepskin is a natural material, so the pile direction, density and exact shade vary a little from skin to skin.

How do I clean and maintain it?
Shake it out regularly and brush the wool with a sheepskin or wire brush to lift the pile. Spot clean small marks rather than washing the whole pad, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight so the black does not dull.
