Frequently Asked Questions

Will it work as a bedside table?
At 450mm it's low, so it suits platform beds and low frames. Beside a standard base with a deep mattress it will sit well below the mattress top — one of our 600mm+ tables would suit better.

Is the top big enough to be useful?
400 × 300mm takes a lamp and a book, or a drink and a phone — not all four at once. It's designed for tight spaces where the alternative is no table at all.

What is mindi wood?
A close-grained hardwood, often used as an alternative to mahogany. It's stable, takes a rich finish evenly, and shows moderate grain variation between pieces.

How do I care for it?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Use coasters under hot or wet items, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
