Should it be anchored to the wall?
Yes, we'd recommend it — particularly with young children in the house. At 1280mm tall this is one of the taller chests we stock, and the weight shifts forward considerably when several drawers are open.
How much wall space does it need?
1050mm across and 450mm deep, plus room in front for the drawers to open fully. That's just over a metre of wall — measure before ordering, as it's the widest in the range.
How does it compare to the 5-drawer Industrial slimboy?
The slimboy is 600mm wide with five drawers; this is 1050mm with six. Choose on the wall space you have — the slimboy fits an alcove, this needs a proper run of wall.
Will each piece look the same?
No. The rustic finish shows the timber's own texture and grain, so each chest has its own character.
