Should it be anchored to the wall?
Yes — more so than most. At 1290mm tall on a 550 × 400mm base this is the tallest and among the narrowest chests we stock, so it has the least stable ratio in the range when drawers are open. A bracket and strap is important in any home, and essential with young children.

Where does a slimboy this narrow fit?
An alcove, the gap between a wardrobe and a wall, or a narrow bedroom where a full chest would block the walkway. At 550mm it takes just over half the wall of the Kensington tallboy.

How does it compare to the Kensington tallboy?
Same five drawers and same dark oak. The tallboy is 1000mm wide and 1100mm tall; this slimboy is 550mm wide and 1290mm tall — same capacity, redistributed vertically.

How do I care for the oak?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can lighten timber unevenly.
