Frequently Asked Questions

Where does a slimboy this narrow actually fit?
An alcove, the gap between a wardrobe and a wall, or the end of a bedroom too narrow for a conventional chest. At 580mm wide and 400mm deep it needs less wall than most bedside tables need floor.

Should it be anchored to the wall?
Yes, we'd strongly recommend it here. At 1300mm tall on a 400mm base, this is the tallest and proportionally narrowest unit in the range — a bracket and strap is a sensible precaution, especially with children in the house.

Are the drawers deep enough to be useful?
Six drawers across 1300mm means each is relatively shallow — well suited to folded shirts, underwear and socks rather than bulky jumpers. Call 09 278 8881 if you'd like the internal drawer measurements.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
