Aurum Gold Foil Canvas Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand
A striking portrait in profile against near-black, crowned with an elaborate headpiece worked in gold foil. Canvas at 80 x 120cm in a black frame. The foil is the whole point — it catches lamplight and shifts as you move, so the headpiece reads as metal rather than as printed yellow. A genuine statement piece.
Why It Stands Apart
- Real gold foil applied to the canvas — it reflects and changes with the light, which no flat print can do
- Near-black ground with a warm skin tone: high contrast that holds a wall from across a room
- Black frame runs straight into the dark ground for a seamless edge
- 80 x 120cm portrait — proper scale for an entry, hallway or dressing room
- Only two remaining at our supplier at the time of listing

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the gold real foil?
The supplier describes it as gold foil applied to the canvas but doesn't state the metal content. Call us and we'll ask.
Will the foil show in a dim room?
It needs some light to do its work. A lamp or a downlight angled across it makes a considerable difference.
Is it glazed?
No — canvas, so no glass and no glare competing with the foil.
Will it fade?
Keep it out of direct sunlight, as with any foiled or printed work.
Can I see it?
Please give our showroom a call at 09 278 8881 to check if this is on display.
