The Avery is a solid American ash bar stool in a natural finish, standing 770mm tall on a compact 400mm by 390mm footprint. American ash is a pale, straight-grained hardwood traditionally chosen where a piece has to take daily punishment without showing it, and the natural finish leaves the grain visible rather than staining over it. At 770mm overall this backless stool is sized for a raised bar or high island of roughly 1050mm to 1100mm rather than a standard 900mm counter. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat.

Is it sold individually or as a set?
It is priced and sold as a single stool. If you are seating an island, measure the full run and allow roughly 600mm of width per person.

How should the ash be cared for?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly, as a natural finish absorbs more readily than a sealed one. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which will alter the tone of a pale hardwood over time.
