A gold baroque-framed mirror 915mm wide and 978mm high, only 38mm deep. It is very nearly circular but not quite — slightly taller than it is wide, which is characteristic of baroque framing and gives the mirror a subtly upright presence a true circle would not have.

Is it actually round?
Very nearly. At 915mm wide by 978mm high it is marginally taller than it is wide, which is normal for baroque framing but worth knowing if you are matching it into a symmetrical arrangement.
How is it hung?
From fixings on the back. At nearly a metre across with an iron frame and glass this carries real weight, so use fixings rated well above it and fix into a stud where possible.
How do I clean an ornate frame?
Dust with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, which catches on scrollwork. Apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying, so nothing collects in the detailing.
