Bayside Occasional Chair - Tobacco

Bayside Occasional Chair - Tobacco | Online8 New Zealand

The Bayside Occasional Chair in Tobacco is a sculptural, low-slung accent chair wrapped in a deep chocolate-brown textured fabric. A rounded, wraparound back curves into one arm, the seat sits on a thick, rounded base, and the arched cut-out between the feet gives it a soft, organic shape from every angle. It works as a statement reading chair in a living room, a cosy corner seat in a bedroom, or a pair either side of a coffee table.

Why It Stands Apart

• Sculptural Silhouette: Rounded, organic forms with an arched base that looks as good from behind as from the front.
• Tobacco Textured Fabric: A rich, warm chocolate brown with a fine woven texture that hides everyday wear.
• Wraparound Back: The curved back flows into a single side arm for a relaxed, enveloping seat.
• Generous Proportions: At 81cm deep and 79cm wide it is roomy enough to curl up in without dominating the room.
• Also in Ginger: Available in a warm caramel Ginger, so you can pair two different tones.

Frequently Asked Questions

What rooms does it suit?
It is designed as an accent or occasional chair, so it suits a living room, reading nook, bedroom corner or entry. Two together either side of a coffee table make a strong pairing.

What style of interior does it work with?
The rounded form and earthy tone suit modern organic, Japandi, mid-century and warm minimalist interiors, especially alongside timber, linen and cream tones.

Does it have arms?
The back curves around into one side arm, giving a relaxed, open-sided seat rather than a boxy armchair.

How do I care for the fabric?
Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and prolonged direct sunlight.

Does it ship nationwide?
We ship New Zealand wide. Shipping charges are available at checkout.
