An oval mirror 630mm wide and 800mm high in a solid oak frame. The oval is the reason to choose it over a round mirror of similar area: an upright ellipse suits the proportions of a vanity or a narrow console far better than a circle, because it follows the vertical line of the person standing in front of it.

How is it hung?
From fixings on the back. Solid oak and glass carry real weight, so use fixings rated well above it and fix into a stud where possible.
Is it suitable for a bathroom?
Timber-framed mirrors can be used in a well-ventilated bathroom, but oak will fare better away from direct shower spray and constant humidity. Wipe moisture off the frame rather than letting it sit.
