A round mirror over a metre and a half across, framed in black oak veneer with gold detailing. At 1520mm this is one of the largest mirrors we carry, and scale is the entire proposition: a mirror this size does not decorate a wall so much as change the room, doubling the apparent depth of a space and moving a great deal of light around it.

How is it hung?
This is not a picture hook job. A 1520mm mirror in veneered MDF and glass is genuinely heavy, so it must be fixed into timber studs with appropriate structural screws. The fixing points will span more than one stud, so treat it as a two-person installation and check for wiring before drilling. If you are at all unsure, have it hung professionally.

What size wall does it need?
At 1520mm it needs a clear wall of roughly 3000mm to read properly. It suits an entryway, a stairwell or a large living room, and will overwhelm a standard hallway.

Can it lean against the wall instead?
It is designed to be hung. A mirror of this size and weight should not be left leaning, as it presents a real tipping and glass-breakage risk, particularly around children.
