An industrial-leaning stool with a tan PU seat on a powder-coated iron frame, built around a 650mm seat height for standard kitchen counters. Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my counter or bar?
The 650mm seat is sized for a standard kitchen counter of roughly 900mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. If you have a raised bar or high island at 1050mm or more, this stool will sit too low and you want a 750mm seat instead.

How does PU compare with real leather?
PU gives the appearance of leather and is considerably easier to live with, wiping clean after spills without staining or needing conditioning. It will not develop the patina real leather does, so the trade-off is low maintenance against long-term character.

How should it be cleaned?
A damp cloth handles most marks. Avoid solvent-based cleaners and abrasives, which will damage the PU surface, and wipe the powder-coated frame with a soft damp cloth only.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
