Why a cupboard rather than a second drawer?
A cupboard takes taller items a shallow drawer won't — a stack of books, a water carafe, a small speaker. It's the more flexible option if you want things genuinely out of sight.

Will it be the right height for my bed?
At 760mm this is one of the taller bedsides we stock, so it suits deep mattresses or bases on 15cm legs. Ideally the top sits level with your mattress or just below.

How much room does it need beside the bed?
460mm across the front and only 310mm deep — the shallowest option in our range, which helps where the walkway beside your bed is tight.

How does it compare to the Carrington Haven?
Same 460mm width and 760mm height. The Haven has a natural timber top against its black base; the Shadow is black throughout and 70mm shallower.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
 
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
