Ceramic Stool Diamond 18″ | Online8 New Zealand

A handcrafted porcelain stool in black, worked with a raised diamond pattern across the drum. Ceramic garden stools have a long history in Chinese furniture, and the appeal is the same now as it was then: the material is dense, cool to the touch, and completely impervious to spills. At 330mm across and 450mm high it works as a side table beside a chair, a plant stand, or occasional seating.

Is it strong enough to sit on?
Yes — fired porcelain is dense and strong, and these stools are built for seating as well as display.

Can it go outside?
Ceramic stools are often used on sheltered patios, but glazed ceramic can crack if water gets into it and freezes. Bring it under cover in cold weather.

How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth. The glaze is non-porous, so it won't stain — just avoid knocking it against hard surfaces, since ceramic chips rather than dents.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
