Mango wood in a deep black finish on an open metal base, standing 2200mm tall in an 800mm width. The open frame beneath is what makes the height work: lifting the cabinet clear of the floor keeps a 2.2 metre piece feeling airy rather than imposing, while elongated brass handles give the black timber a warm metallic contrast. Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes, without exception. At 2200mm tall on an open metal base with glazed doors, the centre of gravity sits high and the footprint is narrow. Fix it into wall studs before loading, and keep heavier items in the lower drawer.
Will it fit through my doorway and under my ceiling?
Measure both before ordering, as it ships assembled and travels as a single 800mm x 450mm x 2200mm piece. At 2200mm you have around 200mm under a standard 2400mm ceiling, so check for cornices and light fittings above the position, and allow room to tilt it upright.
How should the glass and brass be cleaned?
Apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying across the cabinet, so the timber and brass do not take overspray. Wipe brass with a dry soft cloth; avoid abrasive metal polishes, which will cut through the finish.
