A 960mm round mirror in textured shagreen resin with a walnut surround, 100mm deep. Shagreen is the reason this sits at the top of the range: originally stingray skin, its fine pebbled texture was a luxury material in the Art Deco era, and reproducing it in resin gives a large mirror a surface that genuinely rewards being looked at closely.

Is it real shagreen?
No. It is a resin finish reproducing the pebbled texture of shagreen, which historically was stingray skin. The resin gives the same visual character without the cost or the ethical questions of the original material.

How is it hung?
From fixings on the back. At 960mm in resin, walnut and glass this is a substantial piece, so fix into timber studs with fixings rated well above its weight and have someone help you lift it. Call our showroom on 09-278-8881 for the shipping weight if you need it for a specific fixing.

How should it be cleaned?
Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasives, which would flatten the pebbled texture permanently.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
