How old is the timber?
The old pine is genuinely reclaimed and roughly 80 years old, so natural variation in grain, colour and old marks is expected and gives each cabinet its own character.
Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes. At 2240mm tall on a narrow 915mm base with glazed doors, this is a high-priority anchoring case. Fix it into wall studs before loading and keep heavier items low.
Will it fit through my doorway and under my ceiling?
Both need measuring, because it ships fully assembled and travels as a single 915mm x 410mm x 2240mm piece with the bonnet top in place. The carved crown is part of the height and cannot be removed for transit. Allow around 160mm of clearance under a standard 2400mm ceiling, and check for cornices or light fittings above the intended position.
How should the antique grey finish be cared for?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and use a barely damp cloth for marks. Avoid solvent-based cleaners. Clean the glass separately, applying cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying it across the timber.
