Can it go in a bathroom?
We would not put it in one, despite what you may read elsewhere about mirrors of this style. This is a fir frame with a washed finish, and fir is a softwood — sustained bathroom humidity will raise the grain, lift the wash and eventually work in behind the mirror backing. A sunroom, hallway or bedroom suits it far better and it will last considerably longer there.

How should it be fixed to the wall?
Into a stud rather than plasterboard alone. A tall narrow mirror concentrates its whole load on a small number of fixings, and at 1500mm a failure brings a large panel of glass down. Check for wiring before drilling, and have someone hold it plumb while you mark out — a narrow mirror shows a lean very obviously against a door frame or skirting.

Can I lean it against the wall instead?
Only if you secure it. At 1500mm it can be pulled over by a child or a pet. Fit a strap or bracket into a stud behind it, never lean it on a rug or an uneven floor, and never where a door can swing into it.

Any other care notes?
Keep it away from direct heat sources — a fireplace, a heat pump outlet or a radiator will dry and crack a softwood frame over time. Dust with a soft dry cloth and avoid solvents on the washed finish.
