A backless stool with a padded olive polyester seat on a matte black steel frame, 420mm square and 660mm high. Olive is the interesting one in the Crown range: muted enough to behave as a neutral, but with enough colour to give a kitchen of hard white and stainless surfaces something organic to sit against.

Will it fit my counter or bar?
At 660mm overall this is counter height, suiting a standard kitchen bench of roughly 900mm to 920mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. It will sit too low at a raised bar of 1050mm or more.

Is a backless stool comfortable enough for meals?
For breakfasts and casual use it works well, and the contoured seat helps. For long meals a backed stool will be more comfortable, so the trade is comfort against the clean look and the ability to tuck away completely.

How should the upholstery be cleaned?
Vacuum with an upholstery attachment and blot spills promptly rather than rubbing. Avoid solvent-based cleaners, which can lift colour from a dyed fabric.
