Will it fit my counter or bar?
At 800mm the seat is taller than a standard bar stool, suiting a high bar or leaner of roughly 1100mm to 1150mm. Measure floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. On a 900mm kitchen counter it will not work.

Is a backless timber seat comfortable enough for meals?
The seat is shaped rather than flat, which makes a real difference over a plain board. For extended sitting a backed stool will still be more comfortable.
