A leather bar stool in top grain leather over a padded seat and full backrest, on a steel base. The enveloping shape is what distinguishes it from a flat-seated stool: it wraps rather than perches, making it one to actually sit in through a meal rather than pull up for five minutes. Plastic caps on the feet protect the floor beneath.

What is the seat height?
Seat height and overall dimensions are not currently listed for this stool, and they are the measurements that determine whether it will suit your bench. Call our showroom on 09 278 8881 to confirm them before ordering. As a guide, a standard kitchen counter around 900mm needs a 650mm seat, and a raised bar at 1050mm to 1100mm needs a 750mm seat, with 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat either way.

How will the leather age?
Top grain leather darkens and softens where it takes the most contact, so the seat and the front edge will patina first. Natural variation in texture and colour across the hide means every stool differs slightly.

How should the leather be cared for?
Dust regularly with a soft dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners entirely, and keep it away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight, both of which dry leather out.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
