Distant Horizon Hand Painted Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand

A soft abstract landscape — olive and sage hills dissolving into a pale cream sky, with no hard edges anywhere. This is a hand painting rather than a print, at 140 x 90cm with an L-frame, and at that scale the brushwork is visible across the room. The palette is about as easy to live with as art gets: it adds depth to a wall without introducing a colour you then have to work around.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Hand painted, not printed — the surface has genuine brush texture and slight variation piece to piece
  • Large 140 x 90cm format: enough to anchor a living or dining wall on its own
  • Muted olive, sage and cream — restful, and it flatters both warm timber and cool stone
  • Soft-edged abstraction reads as atmosphere rather than as a specific place
  • Finished with an L-frame and ready to hang

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it genuinely hand painted?
Yes — the supplier lists it as a hand painting, so expect brush texture and small differences between pieces.

What colour is the frame?
The supplier specifies an L-frame but not its colour. Call us on 09 278 8881 and we'll confirm before you order.

How much wall does it need?
Around 1.8m of clear width for it to sit comfortably.

Will each one look the same as the photo?
Very close, but hand-painted work varies slightly by nature.

Can I see it?
Please give our showroom a call at 09 278 8881 to check if this is on display.
