Elizabeth Ornate Bevelled Floor Mirror - Antique Silver | Online8 New Zealand

An ornate floor mirror two metres tall and 1200mm wide, with bevelled glass in a plaster-detailed timber frame finished in antique silver. Plaster over timber is the traditional method for ornate framing: it takes fine relief detail that carving cannot economically match, over a timber core that carries the structural load.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to lean against a wall?
Only if it is properly secured. At two metres tall and 1200mm wide this is very heavy, and an unsecured leaner of this size could cause serious injury if it tipped. Anchor it to wall studs with an anti-tip strap or bracket, on level flooring, never on a rug, and never where a door could swing into it.

Will it fit through my doorway?
At 2000mm tall it will not pass upright through a standard 1980mm door frame. It must be angled through, and stairwells and corners need checking. Treat it as a two-person move at minimum.

How do I clean a plaster-detailed frame?
Dust with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, which catches on relief detail. Keep liquid away from the plaster entirely, as moisture will damage it.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
