French Swivel Chair - Bone | Online8 New Zealand

The French Swivel Chair in Bone is a deeply rounded, cocoon-shaped accent chair in a soft warm-white textured fabric. The high, curved back wraps around into the arms in one continuous sweep, the thick seat cushion sits low and inviting, and the whole chair turns on a recessed swivel base so you can face the conversation, the fire or the view. It makes a statement reading chair in a living room, a cosy bedroom seat, or a pair either side of a coffee table.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Full Swivel Base: A low, recessed plinth lets the chair turn smoothly while keeping its clean, grounded look.
  • Cocoon Silhouette: The wraparound back and arms create an enveloping, sculptural seat that looks as good from behind as from the front.
  • Bone Textured Fabric: A soft warm-white 100% polyester weave with a soft, tactile texture that is easy to live with.
  • Generous Size: At 93cm deep and 87cm wide it is roomy enough to curl up in.
  • Four Colourways: Also available in Tobacco, Ginger and Coco.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it swivel all the way around?
Yes. It sits on a swivel base, so you can turn it to face the room, the TV or the window.

What style of interior does it suit?
The rounded form and soft warm-white tone suit coastal, Japandi, Scandi and warm minimalist interiors, especially alongside pale oak, linen and stone.

How much space does it need?
It measures 93cm deep, 87cm wide and 75cm high. Allow a little clearance around it so it can turn freely.

How do I care for the fabric?
Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and prolonged direct sunlight.
