The Fresno is built on a simple idea done properly: a substantial oak carcass carried on ironwork, finished dark so the structure reads as a single graphic form rather than a collection of parts. Wide enough to hold a real library, and delivered fully assembled.

Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes. At 1850mm tall on a 400mm-deep base, this sits well into the range where anti-tip fixing matters. Anchor into wall studs at more than one point across the width before loading it.

Will it fit through my doorway and under my ceiling?
Measure the route first, as it ships fully assembled and travels as a single 1400mm x 400mm x 1850mm piece. The width is the constraint on hallway corners and stair turns rather than the doorway itself. At 1850mm it clears a standard 2400mm ceiling comfortably.

How much weight will the shelves take?
The oak and iron construction is built for a full book load across the 1400mm span. As with any wide shelving, spread heavy volumes evenly rather than concentrating them at the centre of a shelf.
