An arched mirror 610mm wide and 864mm high, with a gold frame formed as delicate branches with perched birds. The sculptural frame is genuinely open rather than a solid outline with pattern applied, so the wall colour reads between the branches and the birds sit clear of the glass.

From fixings on the back. Because the outline is irregular, get the fixings level so the arch sits square rather than tilted. Use a fixing rated above the mirror's weight.
How do I clean an openwork frame?
Dust with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, which will catch on the branches. Apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying, so nothing collects in the detail.
Is the gold finish delicate?
Treat it as you would any applied metallic. Avoid metal polish and abrasives, which will strip the finish rather than restore it.
