Frequently Asked Questions

How much room does the bed need?
2100mm long by 1830mm wide, with a tall 1230mm headboard. Check the headboard height against any windows or wall fixtures behind the bed.

How much wall space for the other pieces?
The tallboy needs just over a metre of wall at 1280mm tall, and each bedside is 570mm wide. Allow around 2.2 metres in total beyond the bed.

Will natural pine change colour?
Yes, slightly. Pine mellows and warms with age and light exposure — most people find it improves the look over time.

Is this available in other sizes?
Yes — the 4-piece suite also comes in Queen and Super King, and there's a 6-piece King that adds a dresser and mirror.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell. We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.

Returning Defective Products

Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.

Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.

Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.

If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:

a. The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b. The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
