Will it fit my counter or bar?
The 760mm seat suits a raised bar or high island of roughly 1050mm to 1100mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. It will sit too high at a standard 900mm kitchen counter.
How does it compare with the steel and upholstered versions?
Identical frame, dimensions and specification across all three. Bare steel is the cheapest and easiest to wipe down, the upholstered pad is the most comfortable, and the ash top sits between the two.
How much weight can it hold?
It is rated to a maximum user weight of 120kg.
How should the ash top be cared for?
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it rather than leaving moisture sitting on the timber. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which will alter the tone of a pale hardwood over time.
