It is an architectural piece rather than a furnishing one — a hand-crafted iron frame in an aged finish, standing over two metres, intended for a room with the ceiling height and floor area to carry it. In a normally proportioned room it will not read as a mirror so much as a wall.

Will it fit through my door?
Not upright. At 2130mm it is taller than a standard 1980mm door frame, so it has to be tilted and angled through every doorway on the route. Measure your hallway width, your stair turns and your ceiling height before you order, because a mirror that cannot be angled around a corner cannot be got into the room at all. If access is tight, call us before you buy.

How do I stop it falling over?
Secure it, without exception. A mirror standing 2130mm tall has a very high centre of gravity, and if it goes over it will fall further and hit harder than any other mirror we sell. Strap or bracket it into a stud, not into plasterboard. Never stand it on a rug or an uneven floor, and never where a door can swing into it. If there are children in the house, this is not a mirror to leave freestanding.

Can it be hung on the wall instead?
Only into structural framing spanning several studs, and only with help. Check for wiring and pipework across the whole fixing zone before drilling, and treat it as a two-person lift at minimum — three is sensible at this height.

What does it weigh?
More than our records say. The weight held against this product came through a bulk supplier import and is lower than the glass alone would weigh at this size, so we have not published it. Call the showroom and we will confirm the actual figure — with a mirror this size it is worth knowing before delivery day.
