A solid mindi wood mirror 635mm wide and 705mm high, in an old wood beech finish. Mindi is the interesting choice: a dense, close-grained hardwood that takes a distressed finish convincingly, which is why the aged beech tone reads as genuinely weathered rather than as a stain applied over new timber.

How is it hung?
From fixings on the back. Solid hardwood and glass carry real weight, so use fixings rated well above it and fix into a stud where possible.
Will it look exactly like the photograph?
Not exactly. Mindi varies in grain and tone, and an aged finish falls differently on each piece, so yours will differ from the one photographed.
How should the timber be cared for?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which fades a timber finish unevenly over time. Avoid solvent cleaners on the aged finish.
