The frame, legs and carcass are solid oak. The top surface is oak veneer over a stable board core, which helps a large top stay flat rather than cupping or splitting with seasonal humidity changes.

How much wall space do all five pieces need?
Beyond the bed, allow 1400mm for the dressing table, 1000mm for the tallboy and 500mm per bedside — around 3.4 metres of wall run.
How does this compare to the 4-piece?
The 5-piece adds the dressing table and mirror. Take it if you want a dressing area; otherwise the 4-piece covers the bed, bedsides and tallboy.
