Koh Bookshelf - Natural | Online8 New Zealand

Solid acacia in a natural finish, 880mm wide and 1850mm tall. Acacia is the point of difference here: a dense hardwood with pronounced, irregular grain and considerable colour variation between boards, so the shelving has visual movement that an even-grained timber cannot give you.

Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes. At 1850mm tall on a 400mm-deep base, this sits well into the range where anti-tip fixing matters. Anchor into wall studs before loading, and keep the heaviest books on the lower shelves.

Will it fit through my doorway and under my ceiling?
The 880mm width clears standard doorways, though check any tight hallway corner or stair turn. At 1850mm it stands comfortably under a standard 2400mm ceiling.

Will it look exactly like the photographs?
Not exactly. Acacia varies considerably in grain and tone from board to board, which is part of its appeal, so the piece you receive will differ from the one photographed.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
