Faux marble on a black metal frame — a pairing that gives you the look of a stone-topped table without the two things that make real marble awkward in a living room: the weight, and the porosity. Faux marble wipes clean and won't etch when someone puts a glass of wine down on it. At 450mm square and 510mm high it sits just below most sofa arms.

Is the top real marble?
No — it's a faux marble surface. That's a practical advantage as much as a cost one: real marble is porous and etches permanently from wine, coffee and citrus, while this wipes clean.

Is it heavy?
Much lighter than a genuine stone-topped table of the same size, so it's straightforward to reposition.

Does the pattern repeat?
Faux marble is printed, so the veining pattern is consistent between pieces rather than varying the way natural stone does.

How do I clean it?
A soft, barely damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, which will dull the printed surface — unlike real marble, it can't be polished back.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
 
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
