Lamai Metal Side Table Set/2 | Online8 New Zealand

Two iron tables in burnt gold, sized to layer — 430mm across at 500mm high, and 550mm across at 600mm. That gap of 100mm in both directions is what makes them work as a pair rather than a matched set: stand them together and the stepped heights read as deliberate. Burnt gold is warmer and more muted than polished brass, so they bring metallic interest without the glare.

Do the two tables nest?
They're sized as a stepped pair rather than a nesting set — designed to stand side by side at different heights rather than tuck one beneath the other.

How does it compare to the Chang set?
Both are burnt gold iron pairs. The Lamai tables are larger (430 and 550mm wide against Chang's 400 and 450mm), so choose Lamai if you want more surface area.

How does burnt gold differ from brass?
It's deeper and more matte, with a slightly weathered quality. It reads warmer than polished brass and shows fingerprints far less.

How do I clean them?

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
