Landed Canvas Painting Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand

A lake at dusk with a dark treeline reading as a low band across the middle, everything else dissolving into soft grey and blush. Canvas painting at 100 x 100cm in a dark brown L-frame. It is barely a landscape — mostly atmosphere, with just enough structure to tell you what you are looking at.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Painted rather than printed, so the surface carries real brushwork
  • Muted grey, blush and green: adds depth to a wall without introducing a strong colour
  • True 100 x 100cm square — the right shape for a wide low wall or a chimney breast
  • Dark brown L-frame grounds a very soft image
  • Restful enough for a bedroom, substantial enough for a living room

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the painting vary between pieces?
Yes — hand-applied work varies slightly.

What furniture suits it?
A sideboard or console of 1.5m or wider.

Is it glazed?
No — canvas, so no glass and no glare.

Does it group with Sea Mist?
Yes — both are soft, near-empty atmospheric paintings, though Sea Mist is a wide panorama and this is square.
