Around 80 years of history, rebuilt as a library wall — this is the largest unit in the elm industrial range, running 2130mm wide and 2130mm tall to fill a wall properly. Genuine reclaimed elm shelving sits within a black iron frame, giving you open storage with the grain, patina and colour variation only salvaged timber carries. Because the elm is truly reclaimed, that natural variation is expected, so every unit is unique.

How old is the timber?
Around 80 years old. The elm is genuinely reclaimed, so natural variation in grain, colour and marks is expected — and it is what makes each unit unique.

Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes. This is the largest and heaviest unit in the range, and at 2130mm tall it must be fixed into wall studs once assembled. Anchor at multiple points across the width rather than a single fixing, and load the lower shelves first.

Will it fit under my ceiling and along my wall?
It is assembled in the room, so the 2130mm width is not a doorway problem. A 2400mm ceiling is the practical minimum for a 2130mm-tall unit, and you need a clear, uninterrupted 2130mm run of wall with no skirting returns, switches or window reveals in the way.

Can it be split into smaller sections?
No, it is a single unit at full width. If your wall cannot take 2130mm, the Medium at 1170mm or the Small at 660mm cover the same look in a smaller footprint.
