Louise Cheval Floor Mirror - 50 x 150cm | Online8 New Zealand
A free-standing cheval mirror on its own easel stand, with an arched top and a black wooden backing. At 50 x 150cm it gives a full-length reflection without touching the walls — which matters in a rental, a bedroom with no spare wall, or a dressing corner where you want to move the mirror to catch the light.
Why It Stands Apart
- Free-standing on its own easel — no fixings, no holes, and it can be moved or angled
- Full 1.5m height for a true head-to-toe reflection
- Arched top softens the rectangle and gives it a little period character
- Black wooden backing and stand — a proper piece of furniture rather than a propped sheet of glass
- Narrow 50cm footprint, so it tucks into a corner of a bedroom or dressing room

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need fixing to the wall?
It stands on its own easel. That said, if there are children or pets in the house we'd strongly recommend also securing it with a safety strap — a 1.5m mirror is dangerous if pulled over.
Does it tilt?
Cheval mirrors normally pivot on their stand. The supplier doesn't confirm the mechanism, so call us on 09 278 8881 and we'll check.
How much floor space does it need?
Allow around 50cm of width and roughly 40-50cm of depth for the easel legs.
How heavy is it?
Not published by the supplier. We'll confirm on request.
Can I see it?
Please give our showroom a call at 09 278 8881 to check if this is on display.
