An 180cm sideboard in black elm with a natural timber interior. The arc detail across the front is what separates it from a flat-fronted cabinet — a curve that catches light differently across the doors and gives a long black piece some movement. At 45cm deep it lines a dining room or hallway wall without narrowing the room.
Why It Stands Apart
- Arched front detail: The curve across the doors gives the front depth and shadow, where a flat panel would read as a plain block.
- Black outside, natural inside: The interior is left in natural timber, so opening a door reveals warm grain against the black exterior.
- 1800mm of surface: Long enough to lay out a full spread, or to take a pair of lamps with room between them.

When will it arrive?
This is a pre-order. Stock is due to land approximately September 2026. Ordering now reserves one from the incoming shipment.
What is the arc?
A curved detail worked across the front of the piece, so the doors are not flat panels. It is what gives the Luca its name and its shadow line.
What does "natural inside" mean?
The exterior is finished black while the interior is left in natural timber, so the grain shows when the doors are open.
Will it fit my hallway?
At 45cm deep it projects less than most sideboards. Measure your hall width and allow at least 900mm of clear passage in front of it.
Will it match the photos exactly?
Not precisely. Slight variation in wood colour and texture is normal in elm and is part of the character of the piece.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry it off. Avoid abrasive cleaners, and use mats or coasters under anything hot or wet.
