Malawi Wall Mirror | Online8 New Zealand

A black metal mirror 840mm wide and 1240mm high, only 30mm deep. The proportion is the useful part: taller than it is wide but not so narrow that it becomes a slot, which makes it one of the few mirrors that works equally well above a console or as a standalone panel on a plain wall.

  • Metal rather than timber or board. A metal frame holds a slim profile rigid across 1240mm, which timber at the same thickness would not.

How is it hung?
From fixings on the back. At 1240mm in metal and glass this carries real weight, so use fixings rated well above it and fix into a stud where possible. Check for wiring before drilling.

What size wall does it need?
Allow roughly 1600mm of clear width. Above a console or sideboard, leave 200mm to 300mm between the surface and the base of the frame.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?
A metal frame handles humidity better than timber or MDF, but avoid mounting it where it takes direct shower spray.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
 
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
