The compact Mammoth: 900mm wide and 1200mm tall in solid aged pine, with the same distressed finish and chunky country proportions as the taller unit in the range. At this height it works under a window or alongside a sofa, where a full-height bookcase would be too much. No assembly required.

Does it need anchoring?
At 1200mm on a 350mm-deep base it sits below the height where tipping is a general concern, so wall fixing is not required in the way it is for a full-height bookcase. In a household with small children who might climb, a strap is still worth fitting.

Will the colour match the photographs?
The finish is lighter in person than it appears in the photographs. If you are matching it to an existing piece, it is worth seeing it in the showroom first.

How does it compare with the taller Mammoth?

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
 
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
