Mellow Mood II Canvas Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand

A colour-block abstract — soft rectangles of cream, dove grey, rust and black stacked and offset against each other, with hand embellishment worked over the canvas. 80 x 120cm in an oak-coloured L-frame, and it hangs either way up, which is unusual for a composition this structured. The rust block is the only warm note, and it is what keeps the piece from being cold.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Hand embellishment over the canvas gives real surface texture across the blocks
  • Hangs horizontally or vertically — the composition works both ways, so it fits the wall you have
  • Restrained palette with a single rust accent — warm enough to live with, calm enough for a bedroom
  • Colour-block composition reads cleanly from across a room and never gets busy
  • Only two remaining at our supplier at the time of listing

Frequently Asked Questions

Which way up should it hang?
Either. The supplier confirms it works both ways, so choose whichever suits your wall.

Is there a Mellow Mood I?
The name suggests so. Give us a call and we'll check what else the supplier holds in the series.

Does the embellishment vary?
Yes — it is applied by hand, so small differences are normal.

Is it glazed?
No — canvas, so no glass and no glare.

Can I see it?
