Subtle French styling with a lipped top, a drawer and a display shelf. The lipped edge is the practical detail — it stops books and glasses sliding off, which matters more beside a bed than anywhere else. Mahogany and engineered wood with brass handles and metal drawer runners, finished in white.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it be the right height for my bed?
At 740mm it's one of the taller bedsides we stock, so it suits deep mattresses and bases on 15cm legs. Beside a low platform bed it will stand above the mattress top.

How deep is the drawer?
58mm internally — shallow, so it's designed for flat items like books, chargers and reading glasses rather than bulky things. The open shelf below takes what won't fit.

What does a lipped top mean?
The top has a raised edge running around it, like a shallow tray, so items don't slide off the side. Genuinely useful next to a bed.

How do I care for the finish?
Water-based paint under a lacquer top coat wipes clean easily. Use a soft, barely damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners, which dull lacquer.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
