The Monte Cristo Console is a compact console table in a deep black finish, built from bayur wood with mindi veneer over MDF. At 800mm wide and just 300mm deep it is made for the places a full-size hall table won't go — a tight entry, a landing, or a narrow wall beside a doorway. The square 800 × 800mm proportion gives it a neat, deliberate look rather than a stretched one.

The Monte Cristo Range
The Monte Cristo pieces are all built from bayur wood with mindi veneer, and are designed to be used together: this console in black, the Console 80cm in natural, the Commode 3 Drawer 80cm, the Bedside Table and the Desk 120cm. Note that the rest of the range is finished in natural, so this black console is the piece to choose as a deliberate contrast rather than a match. Each is sold separately.
