American ash paired with a powder-coated metal frame, standing 2100mm tall in a black finish. The combination is deliberate: ash is a pale, straight-grained hardwood, and setting it in black metal gives the cabinet its graphic quality rather than relying on decoration. Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes. At 2100mm tall on a 450mm-deep base, this must be fixed into wall studs. Anchor it before loading, and keep the heaviest items on the lower shelves.
Will it fit through my doorway and under my ceiling?
Measure your access route and your ceiling before ordering. At 2100mm you need a standard 2400mm ceiling or better, plus room to tilt the cabinet upright once it is in the room. The one-metre width should clear most doorways, but check any tight hallway corner or stair turn.
How should American ash be cared for?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which will alter the tone of a pale hardwood over time. Wipe the powder-coated frame with a damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
