How old is the timber?
The elm is genuinely reclaimed and around 80 years old, so each seat carries its own knots, nail marks and colour variation — natural variation that makes every stool unique.

Will it fit my counter or bar?
The range covers both. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat, then wind the stool to suit. A standard 900mm kitchen counter sits comfortably in the lower part of its travel, and a raised bar at 1050mm to 1080mm near the top.

Is it adjustable or does it swivel?
It is height-adjustable by a tool-free wind-up mechanism: the seat turns on a threaded column to raise or lower it, with no release lever, and it holds position once set.
