Does a matte finish mark easily?
More than a gloss one, yes. Matte surfaces show fingerprints and grease rather than shedding them, and they cannot be buffed out. Handle the frame by its edges and clean it with a dry cloth only — solvents will leave a shiny patch that cannot be corrected.

How do I clean the ornate detail?
