From fixings on the back. A metre-square solid wood mirror carries real weight, so fix into timber studs using fixings rated well above the mirror's weight, and have a second person help you lift it into place.
How much wall does it need?
At 1000mm wide it sits best on roughly 2000mm of clear wall. Above a console or sideboard, leave 200mm to 300mm between the furniture top and the base of the frame.
How do I care for the timber frame?
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying it directly, so nothing runs down onto the timber and marks the finish.
